Ernest Adams:

How was working on the acm programme for you?

I greatly enjoyed the ACM programme. The organization and facilities were excellent, and the people very friendly and helpful.

How does it compare to /differ from other programmes you are familiar with?

The ACM programme allows me to talk to students with a diversity of experiences and interests. Most other programmes are aimed specifically at gamers, and it's a pleasure to teach people who have a broader background.

What is your opinion on new media education in general? Is there enough? Is it adequate?

Yes, I feel that there is a lot of new media education available and it is quite good.

How does the acm programme rank in regard to programmes on offer?

I'm afraid I don't know enough about other new media programmes. Most of the teaching I have been doing has been to game development programmes.

Constanze Bausch:

How was working on the acm programme for you?

"I really loved the creative space!"

How does it compare to /differ from other programmes you are familiar with?

"It is much more open and practice orientated than university, dealing with nowadays working challenges."

How does the acm programme rank in regard to programmes on offer?

"best level!"

Steve Bürk:

How was working on the acm programme for you?

I loved working on last years acm-programme. I was a very friendly, creative and energetic atmosphere. It was more intimate than other programmes I worked on.

How does it compare to /differ from other programmes you are familiar with?

There is hardly enough new-media-education. If more people were properly informed, we wouldn't have experienced the crash of the new media industry. Also it is a science, helping to find ways to bring people of all nations, religions and skin colors closer together.

How does the acm programme rank in regard to programmes on offer?

Very high. It has a lot of the most inspiring international teachers and is very intense because of its length and complexity.

Mark Meadows:

How was working on the acm programme for you?

great - everything went well and i had a brilliant time. the students seemed overall pleased with what we did, and the items that they had criticism on - mainly my order of presentation and the logical flow between items i was presenting - has been adjusted in this year's presentation.

How does it compare to /differ from other programmes you are familiar with?

ultimately it is more professionally-oriented and goes deeper into its theoretical side. this is a rare and valuable combination that the ACM would be wise to continue with. i have put inga in contact with a few other directors of similar programs in hopes that collaboration and comparison can come as a result. i would be glad to continue doing so over the coming year.

What is your opinion on new media education in general? Is there enough? Is it adequate?

cannot parse data.

How does the acm programme rank in regard to programmes on offer?

top notch.

Michael Valeur:

"It´s has been a pleasure to work for the acm programme, things has been very well organised, and the students was competent and ready to work. If I should put some special words on the acm´s course compared to other courses, I will said that the effectivity was giving a great feeling of being in safe hands... not too much administration, so I got a chance to concentrate on the lectures instead of concentrating on technics or formalia. I find the new media education very important especially right now, where the "gold rush" is over. The time for the easy money is over, and everybody must ask themselves, what these media really are and what we can use them for ? The acm course gives us a chance to work on a very practical how-to-do-it level (where we can show productions and demonstrate the working process) and at the same time take the more general discussion about theoretical subjects like: How do we communicate with an interactive system ? What is interaction after all ? And how can we use the different interactive medias ? In other words is it possible to be more focused on the interactive productions, than ordinary university education is used to, and at the same time be more theoretical than usually on programming courses and courses close to that. That gives room to discussions and statements around things whiche are too often forgotten, f.ex. the artistic ambitions and the whole discussion of what good quality is in interactive designs."
